Details: This show summarizes years of job search research and presents the ones that really work:  networking, informational interviewing, temporary agency work, skill identification, etc.  It emphasizes that it's as important who you know as what you know.  Who you know gets you in the door; what you know gets you the job.  What you know will help you keep your job and create new opportunities.  This video discusses the difference between a job and a career.  It stresses the positive assessment students need to make in order to prepare for the interview:  interests, values and skills need to be written down.  And that this positive foundation can be the basis for developing a personal career ladder with ideal jobs targeted.  Once targeted, many useful job search techniques can be used to find the ideal match between the student's skills and interests and the right job.  A very practical show, your students will appreciate the straight forward manner the information is presented in and the interesting color graphics.
