Details: Various methods of food preparation are defined:  baking, broiling, steaming, sautéing, roasting, frying, boiling and others.  How different types of foods are affected with each of the above methods are discussed as is the effect of combining cooking methods.  Different types of ovens are presented from conventional to convection, as are the different types of ranges.  Proper care and maintenance procedures are also highlighted.
